Classroom Expectations
We are all responsible for creating and maintaining a positive learning environment. To achieve this, we follow ARTS…
A – ACT like you are in an audition, with dignity and poise
R – RESPECT your teacher, peers and surroundings
(All food and drink items should be left outside of the classroom, no chewing gum)
T – TRY, participate and learn in all class activities
S – SURPASS your goals and be your best self at all times!
Behavioral Expectations
As artists, musicians, dancers, actors, actresses and filmmakers, you will need to audition and submit work in the future, and you must practice discipline and attention to detail to be successful in your field! I expect all students to abide by these expectations:
Make-Up and Late Work Policy
YOU, THE STUDENT, ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING YOUR OWN NOTES AND MAKE-UP ASSIGNMENTS!
All relevant assigned work is posted on our grade portal class website. Notes and assignments will be removed on a biweekly basis.
If you have been absent from class, YOU must obtain your missed work when you return to class. You are STILL RESPONSIBLE for all work missed.
If you were present when the assignment was assigned, you will have 3 class sessions from the date of assignment to submit late work for partial credit. Each day late will be reduced in credit by 10 percent.
NEED EXTRA HELP?
Tutoring sessions may be scheduled before school by appointment. Online resources are also available for studying and reinforcement and are posted on our class website under “links and resources.”

- Come to class prepared with required materials.
- No talking while the teacher is talking, or if another student has been called on.
- If you have a question or comment, raise your hand to be called on. Do not shout it out.
- Voice, participation and movement level will be given and should be followed as directed.
- Trips to the restroom or your locker should be done BEFORE or AFTER class, not during!
